Spotted this in the parking lot at my doctor’s office. This is where the doctors park. It has the perfect level of imperfection.

YES. While I certainly can appreciate a beautifully restored vehicle, I really like them in “driver” condition. Nice truck.

Absolutely.

Notice how low that truck rides. Looks like the tailgate would fall to about knee height or just above.
And those huge meaty sidewalls. I love it.

In other words, it’s all about utility and not about attitude.

This is ideal. Wonder what it’s got under the hood, and if it’s got a top loader or a column shift.
Old trucks are so cool!

I would bet 235 I6, 3 on the tree combo.
My 1965 C10 was a 250 I6, 3 on the tree, but the engine had been swapped out of something else, it was originally a 235.

Reminds me of my 65 C10.
Mine was a fleetside short bed, with a 250 I6/3 on the tree combo. Excellent fuel economy, plenty of torque for pulling whatever I wanted. Loved that truck.
Thankfully the older gentleman who bought it restored it and dailies it the last I knew.

All about back injuries, lowering stuff into the bed. As someone who works out of a truck bed every day, low beds are the absolute worst fetish of this site.
